About the project

FlightFund is an independent information project about air passenger rights.

We explain how Regulation EC 261/2004 works and help you understand in a minute whether compensation is due. The calculator applies the official criteria: route distance, type of disruption, length of delay and the carrier’s jurisdiction.

What we are not

We are not a law firm and we do not run claims. We do not accept applications or represent passengers. The information is for reference: the airline or a court decides on payment.

How we make money

Some links are affiliate links. If you follow one and file a claim with a recovery service, we receive a commission from that service. The cost to you does not change. It does not affect our content: we describe the free do-it-yourself route in just as much detail.
